Virginia Development Academy is the summit of the elite player pathway for Prince William Soccer (PWSI) and Virginia Soccer Association (VSA). Formed in 2015, the collaborative partnership between VSA & PWSI represents more than 8,000 players and participates in the Boys’ and Girls’ Elite Clubs National League. PWSI & VSA are also members of the Boys & Girls ECNL Regional League through the Virginia Premier Soccer League.

With more than 75 players joining Division 1, 2, & 3 in the last 4 years, VDA has a proven track record of success in college recruiting and promotion. In addition to college players, VDA has been instrumental in promoting players to the professional level with DC United Homegrown signings Griffin Yow (2002) and Jackson Hopkins (2004) joining DC United after growing up in the VDA and VDA Partner Club systems.

VDA has also experienced team success with the 2006 Girls ECNL reaching the ECNL National Finals in the 2018-2019 season!
